Active4D Licensing and Support
The trial version of Active4D gives you full access to its revolutionary features, but is disabled after 8 hours of continuous use. Thereafter you will need to quit and restart 4D to restart the timer. This gives you time to do your internal testing, and you are free to test on multiple machines.
Deploying
When it comes time to deploy the killer website you've created with Active4D, you will need to buy a deployment license. There are four types of deployment licenses: IP-based, OEM, Volume, and Academic/Non-Profit:
Upgrading to v5 for 4D v11/v12
If you are ready to upgrade to Active4D v5 from a previous version, first you must ensure that your license is up to date. This may require the purchase of one or more renewals. If you purchased a license on or after June 27, 2009, you will receive an upgrade at no charge.
